Swimming… it is the best and the worst of this triathlon training.  I find myself making my greatest gains in the pool, but that is because I am starting with basically zero ability.  The workout calendar today called for a 700 yard swim.  I know most triathletes would scoff at a distance so short, but for me… it is a long way (especially to complete in my 30 minutes during lunch).

I don’t have much of an update, other than to say that I finished the workout – and I felt great.  I love how I feel after a good swim workout.  I think even without triathlon training… I would stick to swimming.  It is actually a good time.
